"You can sense the emotions of those around you. You can feel what they are feeling as though their feelings are your own...Where others grapple for words, you seem to find the right words and the right tone. You help people find the right phrases to express their feelings - to themselves as well as to others...other people are drawn to you." - pg. 97 of Now, Discover Your Strengths (Buckingham & Clifton)

  1. empathy is great quality to have with my children, trying to relate and understand what is possibly frustrating them as they try to learn and grow into bigger babies/kids. understanding the difference between empathy and sympathy was great to understand. because I have empathy for others, I tend to take on others problems which interferes in my time at home. This is something that I will work on.
